Gohobi Old Rock Mud Beam-Lifted Teapot – Handmade Coarse Pottery Kettle (580ml)

Crafted from old rock mud clay, this handmade beam-lifted teapot embodies strength, earth, and restraint. Formed in coarse pottery with a traditional ball-hole filter structure, this 580ml red mud pot is designed for both boiling water and making tea.

Its tall, sculptural profile and lifted beam handle recall traditional hearth kettles, while the raw clay texture reflects a quiet wabi-sabi sensibility. The clay’s mineral density and unrefined surface give the piece a grounded presence — both functional and architectural.

The internal ball-hole filter allows clean pouring during tea brewing, making it suitable for loose-leaf tea preparation. With proper use, the pot develops character over time, subtly deepening in tone through repeated heating and handling.

This is not simply a tea kettle — it is a collector’s ceramic object, designed for serious tea practitioners and those who appreciate material honesty and form.
