Care Information

It is recommended to hand wash wooden chopsticks to increase their lifespan and preserve their quality.

Washing: After each use, wash the wooden chopsticks with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid using harsh detergents or soaking them for extended periods, as it can damage the wood.

Drying: After washing, thoroughly dry the chopsticks with a clean towel. Avoid air-drying them as moisture can cause warping or promote bacterial growth.

Avoid soaking: Do not soak wooden chopsticks in water or leave them submerged for long periods. Excessive exposure to water can cause the wood to swell and warp.

Oil treatment: Occasionally, apply a small amount of food-safe oil (such as mineral oil or coconut oil) to the chopsticks to prevent drying and cracking. Rub the oil onto the surface of the chopsticks with a cloth and wipe off any excess.

Storage: Store wooden chopsticks in a well-ventilated area away from moisture and direct sunlight. Using a chopstick holder or container will help keep them clean and prevent them from rolling off the table.

Avoid extreme temperatures: Avoid exposing wooden chopsticks to extreme temperatures, such as placing them near hot stoves or in the dishwasher. Extreme heat can cause the wood to dry out or crack, while excessive heat and steam can lead to warping.

Regular inspection: Check your wooden chopsticks regularly for any signs of damage, such as cracks, splintering, or mold. If you notice any issues, it's best to replace them for safety and hygiene reasons.
