A tea set from the TORI and YAGI series by Makoto Komatsu. Animal-shaped vessels have been made since ancient times, and here the teapot takes the form of a goat with a stable oval body and a face that forms the spout. The designer suggests it also works as a pourer for sake or dashi. Comes with two cups. Ceramic Japan is a design-led maker based in Seto, Aichi, working with Japanese designers since 1973.

Care Information

Microwave safe if the tea strainer and handle are removed. Dishwasher safe if the handle is removed. Not suitable for oven or direct flame. Dimensions and capacity may vary slightly from piece to piece.
